[English; German below]
This blog has been here for a few years and also has had a bit of inactivity. But I still love it and I still want to share my love for books and stories with you!
It is a mix of English and German, yes. Why? Because I love English, but German is my mother tongue. 90% of the books I now read are English and I want to review them in the same language – makes sense, right? I am one of those „read the original, it’s better“ people. 😀
Currently there is no set structure of posting times and I think it will stay that way. My blog posts consist of anything book-related: reviews, books I’m looking forward to, readathons and things like that. In the past I also did some food-related posts and I might post some share-worthy recipes with you, if I’m up for it. So if I read a book, I will review it for you and if I can’t get enough of something else – I will share that, too. 🙂
I am currently studying and don’t always find time to read, so there will be times again when I don’t have a lot to say, but I will always come back!
Something in general:
All of the things I write are my own thoughts. If I get an idea from somewhere else, I will state so. If I get a book in exchange for an honest review, you will know (e.g. Netgalley).
My review structure consists of the cover and the synopsys, mostly taken from Goodreads. You can get there (or from wherever I take it) by clicking on the cover, since I always link it.

Diesen Blog gibt es jetzt schon seit einer Weile und er hat auch schon die typische Inaktivität hinter sich, die jeden einmal überfällt. Ich liebe es trotzdem noch meine Liebe für Bücher und ihre Geschichten mit euch zu teilen und werde das auch weiterhin tun!
Dieser Blog ist ein Misch-Masch aus Deutsch und Englisch. Warum? Weil ich Englisch liebe, Deutsch aber meine Muttersprache ist. 95% der Bücher die ich mittlerweile lese sind Englisch und ich möchte Rezensionen auch in der gleichen Sprache schreiben, in der ich das Buch lese – macht Sinn, oder? Ich bin eine von diesen „lies das Buch im Original, das ist besser“-Leuten. 😀
Zur Zeit gibt es hier keine feste Posting-Struktur und ich glaube das bleibt auch so. Meine Beiträge handeln immer irgendwie von Büchern: Rezensionen, Bücher auf die ich mich freue, Readathons (Lesemarathons) und solche Sachen. Ich habe auch schon einmal Posts über Essen (Richtung Veganismus) verfasst und vielleicht teile ich noch einmal etwas, wenn es sich lohnt. Aber wenn ich ein Buch gelesen habe oder wenn etwas anderem nicht genug bekommen kann, dann werde ich es hier mit euch teilen und für euch rezensieren!
Zur Zeit studiere ich und habe daher nicht immer Zeit zum Lesen. Es wird also Zeiten geben in denen ich nicht viel zu sagen habe, aber ich werde immer zurück kommen!
Noch etwas Allgemeines:
Alles, was ich hier schreibe ist mein eigenes Gedankengut. Wenn ich mich von woanders inspirieren lasse, dann schreibe ich das auch so und verweise auf den/die Urheber/in. Wenn ich ein Buch im Tausch für meine ehrliche Meinung erhalte, dann werdet ihr das erfahren (z.B. Netgalley). Meine Rezensionsstruktur besteht, neben meiner Meinung, aus dem Buchcover und dem Blurb/der Zusammenfassung. Diese hole ich fast immer von Goodreads. Um dahin zu gelangen, könnt ihr ganz einfach auf das Buchcover klicken und gelangt somit zur Seite meiner Quelle (Goodreads oder durchaus auch eine andere Seite).
