Mein “Waiting On”
Let’s begin the last hour classy, shall we?
Be sure to check my Updates & Challenges from hours 13-24 + my own ending meme >>here<<.
So this is my second update’s-part! Click >>here<< to see my 1st (hours 1-12). Hope you enjoy! 🙂
I knew I’d sleep too long! 😀 Hour 13 was the last I saw and then I went to sleep. Guess I was more doneand over than I thought… in 15 minutes hour 18 is done and we’ll ony have 6 more hours to read!
Back to reading! (I’m going on with Paper Towns for now.)
Best quote so far:
„Interesting capitalization,“ I said.
„Yeah. I’m a believer in random capitalization. The rules of capitalization are so unfair to words in the middle.“
Aaaand another quote of a quote:
Light, the visible reminder of Invisible Light.
– T.S. Eliot
Hahahaha :‘-D I can’t anymore! The photo of Jason in Paper Town! 😀
Also I participated in a challenge again!:-) See the official post >>here<<, the challenge post >>here<< and my entry >>here<<.
I participated in the The moment you fall in love with a book challenge! Here’s the official Hour 21 post!
Oh and my entry for the challenge:
It was “Dream a Little Dream” by Kerstin Gier! I loved how it had to do with our dreams because they’re seriously fantastic! Dreams are important to work through what you’ve experienced and they have to do with your imagination.
But this book also had nice characters and traitors. It was kind of light and just different from the books I read.. So this was my second last 5 star rating, because my last was the sequel! (But I think I actually gave the sequel 4.5 stars…)
I also think more people should read it. I mean she’s a German author, but so many people still liked/loved Ruby Red and so on, right?
There are only 2 hours left!! READ! *throws herself superman-awkwardly on the couch*
Last hour, guys! If you’re suspicious of what I’m doing: I’m reading Paper Towns (John Green) and eating some berry ice cream. How is Paper Towns? I’m currently on page 106 (I was a bit lazy for the last hour or so…) and it’s better than I thought. Okay due to my dislike of An Abundance of Katherines my expectations were pretty low, but still. Oh and I feel the characters are just taken from Looking for Alaska and put into another story. Or the other way around.
Status: Paper Towns page 128
I have to say this book really is good. By now 3 stars (what’s low by my standarts), but still good. 🙂
To everyone: It was a realy fun readathon with great challenges and even better readers! I hope you had some fun during this event. Be sure to tell me below what you read and what your favourite part was! (You can leave a link if you want.) 😉
Pages read: 1316 (Dawn Of Arcana) + 41 (Julia Engelmann) + 128 (Paper Towns) = 1485 pages! INSANE!!!
Books finished: 7.5
Food ate: nuts, noodles with tofu, dark chocolate, raspberries, bananas, ice dream
Fun I had: more than last time!
Interruptions: about 3 (I had to open my parents car from the 4th floor of our house ‚cause they used the other car..)
Hours I’ve read: about 40 minutes per hour except 2-3 + 6 sleeping hours
Satisfied: If I leave out hours 13-15 YAAS! I was a bit lazy the last few hours, but whatever. 🙂
I hope you ALL had fun and be willing to participate in the next readathon this OCTOBER!
See ya, I’m off to read some more and watch Gosip Girl paired with some more ice dream!
–> Started Paper Towns (John Green) and re-started a poetry book by german slam poet Julia Engelmann. My eyes won’t open up…
–> 7 mangas in a row. They’re name is Dawn of Arcana and they’re awesome…
–> I don’t think I’ll get around to read Apollyon (JLA) so I say the poetry book.
–> Nope not really. The readathon started at 2pm and my parents left around 3-4. Since then I’m home alone and the internet has been my only distraction. Oh and food.
–> Again the amount of people! And the cool gifs and music videos or simply just tracks there are in the posts on the Dewey page. Like hour 8! 🙂
Oh and I forgot about the fact that I don’t have any headache by now!! Progress! 😀
So…have a nice sleep! I’m off for 2-3 hours and try to take a cold shower afterwards. I have not decided what to read next because I have a book hangover from the mangas. They’re awesome.
My writing feels like I’m in kindergarten. 😀
PS: This post was my 200th! Celebration!! YAY!!!
(don’t worry about the x’s. there’ll be something written in their place later!)
I changed it up a bit (from last time). I’ll now update about every 2 hours (more often if I do a challenge or finish a book or else) to have some more reading time! Otherwise I’ll spend half of my time on the social media. 😀
Finished book 1 after 40 minutes! :-)) It was Dawn of Arcana 1. 🙂 Now I’m onto volume 2 and I really like it so far!
Done with volume 2 after again 40 minutes in hour 2. I was socialising a bit inbetween.
Check out my hour 3 challenge >>here<< ! 🙂
Soo…I finished book 3 at the beginning of hour 4 and finished the 4th volume right before the beginning of hour 5. YAY!:-))
Oh and you definitely have to check out the Hour 5 blog post from the official page >>here<<. The Reading Rainbow song is hilarious! :‘-D
Sorry I’m a little late!
Finished volume 5 at the beginning of hour 6 and volume 6 at the beginning of hour 7! :-))
The mini challenge is called treasure hunt. Check it out >>here<< and see my entry >>here<<.
I’m done with my 7 books of Dawn of Arcana! Really intrigued by the series and can’t wait to go on..! Ohhh gosh I fell in love with the characters!! Loki is like a friendzoned best friend who (maybe) isn’t even that good of a person because he has a big and terrible secret. Remilia is like a second Alice who isn’t powerful enough to protect herself. Rito is this cute little kid that always jumps around everywhere and has this puppy-look. Vernas is like Apollo from JLA’s Covenant series. Kain was this kid no one ever seemed to understand and get why he is the way he is. Caesar reminds me of all the main male characters from JLA’s books mixed into one. Kind of. (He’s probably far far away from them, but still cute and wow.) Well and Nakaba? She’s…selfless sometimes like Tris (Divergent), a good friend like Alex (Covenant series) and like a little sheep that is in love but doesn’t know which guy to coose somehow and doesn’t know what you’re supposed to do in a relationship. But she was imprisoned for 14 years and I think it’ll come with time. 🙂
So all in all I love the character development! It’s visible, like, big time and it’s great so far.
I’m again taking part in the mini challenge! >>Here<< you can find the hour 8 post from the official reathon page, >>here<< the post from the host of the challenge and >>here<< my entry! :-))
Be sure to check out the music they inserted in the Hour 8 post! I’ve never listened to any of Arkells, but it’s fantastic! 😉
So I wanted to participate, but I had to create a new account to post the comment…confusing. But I’ll still do it, I just won’t post it anywhere else except here.
Challenge name: On Foods and Books >>here<<
Task: Make a post where you will share your best „book-inspired“ recipe and explain its origin, inspiration, etc. Be as original as you want; as whimsical as you feel.
My entry: Actually it’s really only pancakes. I was on my bus drive and read about someone making pancakes (in Project Fat Suit from not_present on wattpad) and when I was home I immediately made some! 😀
I don’t feel that tired, but my mind starts to slow down and completely stop working at times.. 😀 Get a cold shower, do sports and breath fresh air, ignore it or sleep? But I know for sure if I sleep I’ll sleep too long…
Check out the mid-event survey for hours 12 >>here<<!
ONLY A FEW MORE MINUTES!!! I already wish you a happy readin and hopefully you get somewhere near your goal! 🙂
I’m taking part (again) in the 24 hour readathon and they just gave us some questions to answer for the last minutes. Can’t wait!
Let’s begin, shall we?
PS: What are you reading? Link back to your TBR post or just tell me down there in the comment section.! 🙂
Gravity (The Taking #1) by Melissa West
In the future, only one rule will matter:
Don’t. Ever. Peek.
Seventeen-year-old Ari Alexander just broke that rule and saw the last person she expected hovering above her bed — arrogant Jackson Locke, the most popular boy in her school. She expects instant execution or some kind of freak alien punishment, but instead, Jackson issues a challenge: help him, or everyone on Earth will die.
Ari knows she should report him, but everything about Jackson makes her question what she’s been taught about his kind. And against her instincts, she’s falling for him. But Ari isn’t just any girl, and Jackson wants more than her attention. She’s a military legacy who’s been trained by her father and exposed to war strategies and societal information no one can know — especially an alien spy, like Jackson. Giving Jackson the information he needs will betray her father and her country, but keeping silent will start a war.

So today I decided to announce my TBR for the readathon that begins on Saturday(at least for me). Find out more information >>here<<.
I have something exciting to show you! Since you maybe read my New Wednesday/New GIF you know I’m on a vegan way. And since you can’t/won’t/ don’t want to eat anything from animals, you try out new things. And I never knew that healthy food (inclusive vegetables) could be so delicious!!!
And since my ideas for my wraps work out pretty well, I thought I should share them with you.
Disclaimer: I don’t know if anyone ever posted these recipes or not, but I just tried out some things and experimented. My only inspiration was the vegan lifestyle. Weiterlesen
