It’s been a while! And it might stay kind of quiet on here until October, sadly. 😦 I just had my first exam and am in the midst of writing a few essays and such things. In September I’ll be in an internship for 4 weeks, so I won’t really have time to read or write reviews. I did listen to and read some books in the last few weeks though, and I’ll try to write down my thoughts on them. 🙂 Happy reading!
Today’s book is…The Siren by Kiera Cass! Though the cover looks like the Selection series, it’s not within that series. It is a standalone and came off a bit random to me, at first, but it has its charme!

This book gets 3.5 stars from me! I listened to it as an audiobook and so did my best friend, when we were on a road trip. It is the equivalent of a „light read“ and I did enjoy listening to it!
It’s quite a cute story and it has different characters with different backgrounds. Everyone faces their own problems and we accompany Kahlen during her’s. If you want an afternoon „listen“ and a book full of different women, this is yours! If you want a very cute and innocent romance, this is yours!
I don’t really have a lot to say about this book, since it was quite short and I didn’t have a strong connection to it – or at least not more than „oh that was a nice, light read“.
